CVOR Technologist

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a highly skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team in Tupelo, Mississippi.

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by setting up equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, passing instruments, sponges, and other necessary items.
• Maintain a sterile environment during procedures, including handling and disposing of biohazardous materials.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including preparing patients for surgery and assisting with recovery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedure execution.
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or LPN or on-the-job training with two years scrub experience in an OR setting.
• Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification at HCP Level required.
• Eight to twelve months of orientation/training depending on experience.
