Caregiver Inc - Lead Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Registered Nurse to join our team at Caregiver Inc. As a Lead Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical supervision to nursing staff, including training and support to ensure routine and emergency nursing care is provided.
  • Monitor and evaluate the health status of clients through medical chart reviews and audits.
  • Identify delays in service and ensure compliance with state guidelines through the delivery of nursing services.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of nursing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in quality assurance measures to monitor the individual's service plan.
  • Provide on-call nursing services, including telephone triage and emergency response.
  • Attend work regularly and punctually, and ensure that all medical consultations and laboratory reports are documented in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Valid RN license from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners or in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with 1 year of DD nursing experience preferred.
  • Computer literate with basic Excel, Microsoft Office, and Word programs.
Working Conditions:
  • Sitting - 50% of work time.
  • Standing - 20% of work time.
  • Walking - 30% of work time.
  • Bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching, kneeling - 25% of work time.
  • Grasping and finger/hand manipulation - 95% of work time.
