Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a top healthcare facility. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment, positioning patients, and assisting radiologists with imaging procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Set controls on CT equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast media
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images accordingly
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
Requirements
  • Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
  • Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
  • Most states require licensure
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
