Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our rapidly growing Electrical and Instrumentation & Control team in Colorado. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the work of electrical engineers, establishing client relations, and participating in marketing, design, and production meetings. You will also assume the electrical lead on many projects, conduct reviews with governing agencies, and coordinate workload to ensure timely completion of documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the work of electrical engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's development
  • Establish client relations and participate in marketing, design, and production meetings with regard to electrical systems
  • Assume the electrical lead on many projects
  • Conduct reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
  • Coordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule
  • Track the financial aspects of projects and coordinate and adjust the work effort with the team to ensure that the work is completed within the parameters of the agreed-upon schedule
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) required
  • Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting, and systems design, including life safety systems and building management systems
  • Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and electrical design software
  • Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm desired
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, previous team coordination, and project management experience
