We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Kindred Hospitals. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing your advanced skills and knowledge to promote positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients on admission and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, utilizing the seven rights of medication administration.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition, including cardiac rhythms, respiratory distress, and other life-threatening situations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in critical care nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BCLS certification and ACLS required.
- Minimum one year training and experience in Critical Care.
