About this Opportunity

  • We are seeking an Enterprise Software Architect to join our team at Vets Hired.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, with experience designing and implementing scalable software systems.
  • Responsibilities include developing high-quality database solutions, reviewing and interpreting ongoing business report requirements, and researching required data.
  • Additional duties involve building appropriate and useful reporting deliverables, analyzing existing SQL queries for performance improvements, and suggesting new queries.
  • The successful candidate will also develop procedures and scripts for data migration, provide timely scheduled management reporting, investigate exceptions regarding asset movements, and produce efficient and error-free code based on requirements.
  • Ongoing responsibilities include performing integration and functional testing on software enhancements, collaborating with QA and BA teams to ensure code is aligned to requirements, creating, supporting, and monitoring commits and pull requests using Azure DevOps, and troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software.
  • Finally, the ideal candidate will work closely with development leads on sprint base code delivery and ensure code changes and testing results from integration and functional testing is documented.
