As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and echocardiography devices.
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate and detailed representations of patient anatomy.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including image quality and any technical issues.
- Current certification as an Echo Technologist.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
