Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently work with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs, ensuring effective integration and programming.
  • Create robust software interfaces between PLCs and devices, accompanied by thorough documentation and validation strategies.
  • Exhibit expertise in commissioning advanced devices on fieldbus networks (Ethernet I/P, ProfiNet, etc.), supported by strong troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Demonstrate skills in programming various robotic systems (Epson, Adept, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Staubli, ABB) and vision technologies (Cognex, Keyence).
  • Excel in precision motion control involving coordinated actions, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Specify and implement state-of-the-art machine vision solutions.
  • Engage actively in both internal and client-focused design reviews, installations, and service interactions.
  • Effectively communicate engineering concepts and ideas to builders, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Comprehend project concepts, budgets, and timelines, ensuring compliance with deadlines and financial parameters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience in controls engineering within custom automation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
  • Strong experience in robotic programming and machine vision systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
