Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently work with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs, ensuring effective integration and programming.
- Create robust software interfaces between PLCs and devices, accompanied by thorough documentation and validation strategies.
- Exhibit expertise in commissioning advanced devices on fieldbus networks (Ethernet I/P, ProfiNet, etc.), supported by strong troubleshooting capabilities.
- Demonstrate skills in programming various robotic systems (Epson, Adept, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Staubli, ABB) and vision technologies (Cognex, Keyence).
- Excel in precision motion control involving coordinated actions, ensuring seamless operation.
- Specify and implement state-of-the-art machine vision solutions.
- Engage actively in both internal and client-focused design reviews, installations, and service interactions.
- Effectively communicate engineering concepts and ideas to builders, clients, and stakeholders.
- Comprehend project concepts, budgets, and timelines, ensuring compliance with deadlines and financial parameters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience in controls engineering within custom automation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
- Strong experience in robotic programming and machine vision systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
