We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses in the Early Childhood Education program at Lewis University. The successful candidate will be responsible for modeling the University's Mission and teaching unit standards for the Department of Education.
Key Responsibilities- Teach one or more classes in the Department of Education at any one of the Lewis University sites
- Hold office hours and meet with other faculty members and department chairs or directors when necessary
- Terminal degree preferred, master's degree considered
- Illinois Professional Educator's License - Early Childhood Grade Levels
- Previous teaching experience in specific subject matter or credential in the area of subject matter applied for
- Experience in using technologies such as Learning Management Systems (Blackboard)
- Previous experience in teaching Early Childhood Education courses
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
