Paramedic Air/Ground Transport Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic Air/Ground Transport to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional prehospital EMS knowledge and skills to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the needs of patients and families, providing appropriate medical care.
- Report, verbally and in writing, observations and medical care of the patient. Provide accurate medical documentation of all medical treatment provided.
- Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Initiative processes by properly reviewing patient care reports as set forth by department standards.
- Operate at level of certification as allowed by protocol with medical director approval (EMT/Paramedic).
- Current certification at EMT-PM level is required.
- Valid Iowa driver's license for at least three years with an acceptable or clear rating according to the Motor Vehicle Record chart.
- Current certification in PHTLS, PEARS, and NREMT.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, TJC, DNV, OSHA, and other federal/state regulatory agencies guiding healthcare.
