Responsibilities- Perform and assist with medical care, including basic first aid, vital sign taking, and ambulation.
- Help patients maintain good personal hygiene, including bathing, toileting, and grooming.
- Observe and report significant changes in patient condition to the Nursing Supervisor.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure patients' dietary and nutritional needs are met.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current, unrestricted certification or proof of training as required by the state.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with aide care policies and procedures.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting.
- Ability to sit and climb stairs.
- Strong sense of smell and touch.
Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments, including exposure to allergens and other conditions. Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
