Job Summary

AMR Corp. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Full-Time Paramedic to join our team in Tinley Park. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and emergency medical services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess emergency situations and determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids, to provide critical care to patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
  • Act as a team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
  • Operate ambulances on emergency responses.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics, to provide seamless patient care.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in community outreach programs to maintain a positive image and establish strong relationships with the community.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • State Paramedic License
  • State Driver's License
  • BLS, ACLS certifications
  • Compliant driving record
  • Pass Physical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
