Compensation:
Estimated salary for this position is approximately $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
This role involves providing advanced cardiac care to patients in a telemetry unit at the Aurora West Allis Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in pharmacology, pathophysiology, and Telemetry, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain expertise in cardiac arrhythmias, Congestive Heart Failure, Chest Pain, MI, and Dialysis pre- and post-assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiac care.
• Contribute to a supportive learning environment that fosters growth and development among nursing staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
