Maplewood Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and supporting their independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide direct care and service to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Teach and counsel residents on health promotion and wellness
  • Participate in assessments and develop care plans under the supervision of the Resident Services Director RN
  • Support residents and their families, providing emotional support and guidance
  • Oversight of Certified Nursing Assistants and training of associates
Requirements:
  • Current licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state
  • Two years of full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience
  • Experience working with older adults, with a focus on promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Ability to perform tasks that may be physically demanding, such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, peers, and other staff members
