Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare samples for sensory studies and run panels by meticulously following protocols and instructions.
  • Achieve retention and recruitment of panelists through online surveys and website engagement.
  • Maintain a well-organized laboratory and inventory, documenting procedures and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist with panel proctoring and ensure accurate data collection.
  • Responsible for the breakdown of testing and cleanup of testing materials.
  • Attention to detail is essential, with familiarity with lab procedures a plus.
  • Responsible for cleaning fabrics used in testing in our on-site laundry facilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as food science, sensory science, or a related field.
  • At least 1+ year of lab experience, preferably in a sensory evaluation or consumer research setting.
  • General knowledge of sensory science and consumer behavior.
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs and work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
