Big-D Companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team of construction professionals in Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to various job sites.
  • Load and unload various materials, tools, and equipment at job sites either by hand or machine assisted.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including cleaning the interior and exterior, filling the gas tank, and scheduling repairs.
  • Comply with government safety requirements and Big-D Companies' internal safety protocols.
  • Report safety violations to supervisors.
  • Maintain yard organization and adhere to marking standards for equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with coworkers.
  • Participate in company-wide events as needed.
  • Present a professional personal appearance at all times.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a lot attendant or mechanic in the heavy equipment, construction, trucking, or automotive industry is preferred.
  • Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and its applications.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Organized and efficient work habits.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with customers.
  • Pass a DOT Medical Examination.
