Job Title: Assembler

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Libra Industries Acquisition LLC. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for performing production work in our Advanced Mechanical Systems department. Your primary function will be to assemble finished products, ensuring a safe work environment, high-quality products, and meeting customer needs and cost goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the assembly of precision mechanical systems.
  • Perform functionality and quality checks using system test equipment.
  • Read and write to perform required job functions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting 6S principles to improve safety and job performance.
  • Identify non-conformances with equipment or parts and react in a timely manner.
  • Follow detailed work instructions.
  • Take direction and work effectively in a team setting.
  • Basic knowledge of general hand tools and ability to read prints, BOMs, and electrical schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret gauges, scales, and Vernier calipers.
  • Demonstrate professionalism with customers and management.
  • Basic computer skills.

Work Environment:

  • This position will work in both front and shop environments.
  • In the shop, you will be exposed to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, machines, and material handling vehicles. PPE is required in this shop area.

Physical Requirements:

  • Good hearing and sight.
  • Able to walk the shop floor and lift up to 20 pounds.
