As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients in their homes, helping them regain lost skills and adapt to their environments.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent observation and communication skills, as well as the ability to assess patient condition and develop effective treatment plans. A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a home health setting, is required. Additionally, you must be licensed to practice in California and hold current CPR/BLS certification.Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Evaluate patient home and work environments, making recommendations for adjustments to enhance safety and accessibility.
  • Advise patients on adaptive equipment to facilitate daily activities.
  • Develop physical rehabilitation programs to promote recovery and independence.
  • Educate caregivers and family members on patient care and progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and outcomes.
