Job Summary

The City of Lynnwood is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform custodial duties, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining facilities
  • Operate standard cleaning equipment and job-specific janitorial equipment
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the facilities team
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to safety protocols
Requirements
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently without continuous supervision
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and disinfectants
  • Ability to perform simple and repetitive tasks
  • Ability to bend, lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and objects weighing up to 100 pounds
Working Conditions

This is a graveyard shift position, working 10pm-6:30am, including weekends and holidays. The work environment is indoor, with standard cleaning equipment and job-specific janitorial equipment used.
