IT Instructor

We are seeking a passionate and experienced IT Instructor to join our dynamic team at Hallmark University. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the future of technology by guiding and inspiring students in their pursuit of IT excellence.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures on various IT hardware and software concepts.
  • Utilize training syllabi, equipment, and learning materials to create a comprehensive and enriching learning experience for students.
  • Assess student progress through regular testing and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Offer after-class assistance to students who require additional guidance or clarification.
  • Maintain accurate records of student grades and submit them promptly according to university guidelines.
  • Serve as a mentor to students, providing encouragement and support throughout their academic journey.
  • Ensure compliance with company and government regulations within the classroom setting.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in computer networking, information systems, computer science, or a relevant industry.
  • Cisco Network Academy Instructor Certificate and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
  • Proven expertise in A+ Hardware and Software, CCENT/CCNA, Security+, or Windows Server 2012/MCSE knowledge and certifications.
  • Experience and understanding of Cyber Security with certifications such as CEH, CHFI, SSCP, and/or CISSP.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills, both in group and one-on-one settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Documented successful teaching experience at the post-secondary level or equivalent private industry experience.
