First Care Home Services is seeking a highly motivated Nurse Instructor to teach LPN classes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, as well as experience in nursing education.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, assessing, and evaluating student learning, as well as participating in program-level learning assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Develop and deliver engaging lessons, assessments, and evaluations for LPN students, using a variety of teaching methods and materials.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Design and implement comprehensive assessments and evaluations to measure student learning outcomes, including quizzes, exams, and final projects.
  • Program-Level Learning Assessment: Participate in program-level learning assessment activities, such as developing and implementing learning outcomes, selecting and administering measures, and evaluating student performance.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and update curriculum, ensuring alignment with school policies and industry standards.
  • Student Support: Provide individualized support to students, including academic advising, mentoring, and coaching.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of teaching experience in a nursing education setting; or relevant clinical experience.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure and certification in good standing.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
