We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Property Manager to join our team at Southeast Management Group. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our 100-unit community, ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction and meeting occupancy targets.
Key Responsibilities- Tour and Leasing: Conduct thorough tours of our community to prospective residents, highlighting its amenities and benefits.
- Communication and Follow-up: Effectively communicate with prospective residents, tracking progress and ensuring a smooth screening process.
- Community Policies and Screening: Enforce community policies and screening guidelines, maintaining a fair and consistent approach.
- Vendor Management: Work with and schedule 3rd party vendors to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Financial Management: Review and submit invoices for payment, ensuring accurate coding for budgeting purposes.
- Rental Payments and Lease Files: Collect and process rental payments accurately, maintaining up-to-date lease files.
- Resident Communication: Send out resident notices, addressing issues such as small balances, noise warnings, and lease renewals.
- Issue Resolution: Handle resident issues promptly and ethically, ensuring a positive living experience.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and submit accounting month-end documentation, reporting on weekly leasing activity and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Maintenance department to ensure timely completion of service requests.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous property management experience required, with a proven track record of success.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with property management software and accounting software, with experience with Yardi a plus.
- Financial Acumen: Ability to review, understand, and report financial information.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, vendors, and the public.
- Time Management and Organization: Strong time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and to tour the community with guests.
