Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document detailed functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into precise technical specifications, ensuring that solutions meet both business and technical needs.
- Develop comprehensive wireframes, process flows, and data flow diagrams to support technical development.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT developers, and project managers to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Facilitate communication and clarification of requirements between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Conduct gap analysis to ensure current and future-state systems meet business needs.
- Lead and participate in design reviews and system testing to ensure alignment with technical specifications.
- Assist in project management, including tracking project milestones and deliverables as required.
- Provide post-implementation support to ensure continued success of the delivered solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or related role, with a focus on technical requirements gathering and analysis.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory environments, and technology solutions within the healthcare industry.
- Proven experience in creating wireframes, technical specifications, and process diagrams.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Expertise in translating functional requirements into detailed technical designs.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, and other diagramming software.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with healthcare systems, such as EHR/EMR or revenue cycle management platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and integration tools.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
