Job Title: Senior CARE Storm Restoration Trainer

As a Senior CARE Storm Restoration Trainer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our industry by developing and delivering world-class training programs for our external customers and internal talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive storm restoration training curriculum to external customers, sales staff, and other trainers.
  • Provide expert insurance industry insights and input across the organization to inform storm restoration-focused products, services, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and measure the impact of technical training and process improvements across the organization.
  • Curate high-quality training content, working closely with external training partners to identify learning opportunities and onboard new training initiatives.
  • Ensure all storm restoration training is current and compliant with GAF's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the development of training resources for storm restoration, including Xactimate, Symbility, state-specific insurance guidelines, and building codes.
  • Maintain industry certifications and licenses.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, architecture, construction project management, computer science, education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of applicable experience in property claims adjusting or storm restoration industry.
  • Verisk Estimating Solutions Experience (Xactimate).
  • Deep technical knowledge of roofing, insurance claims, and estimating.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence others, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous environment and manage multiple projects to completion.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to large groups.
  • Willingness to work independently and be self-motivated, with the ability to travel 50-70%.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (Spanish).
  • Active Adjuster's License.
  • Corelogic Estimating Platform Experience (Symbility).
  • Haag Certified Inspector.
  • Experience in manufacturing, building materials, roofing, or construction.
