Job Summary

Crane Payment Innovations is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in CPI Williston, South Carolina facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing second-level support to the production value streams and new product introduction. This role is critical in providing support to the Value Stream, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Provide engineering support to production while solving design/process issues
Execute actions to improve the overall production and efficiency of the site
Coordinate production processes including operating standard and workstation layouts
Make and coordinate improvements to production processes and workstations that impact safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Participate in technology boards to ensure the flow of information and resources that solve problems and changes related to the product and process
Participate in improving process and product quality through improvement events, such as Kaizen

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree
2 years experience in production processes in a manufacturing plant
1 year experience in manufacturing troubleshooting tools (change implementation)
Budget management exposure
Personnel management experience preferred
Desirable knowledge: industrial processes of electro-mechanical assembly. APQP, ISO9001. AutoCAD drawing, Solid Works, Basic electronics knowledge, circuit operation, and experiment design
Ability to travel nationally and internationally
Ability to attend out-of-hours meetings
