Cardiac Sonographer

Job Summary:

The Cardiac Sonographer at CommonSpirit Health plays a critical role in diagnosing and monitoring heart conditions by using advanced ultrasound equipment to capture images of patients' hearts and cardiovascular systems. This position requires a thorough knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, exceptional technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary medical team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiograms and analyze images to assist cardiologists in diagnosing cardiac conditions
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate diagnoses
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to provide high-quality patient care

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED or Higher Education and completion of an Echocardiography Program
• American Heart Association-issued BLS card
• ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS required

Preferred Qualifications:

Pediatric and Structural heart experience
