Responsibilities- Assess and Manage Patient Care: Evaluate medical problems, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with Surgical Team: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and families about preventive care, medical issues, and treatment options.
- Document Patient Information: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Master's Degree: Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Advanced Practice Nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Kansas or Missouri. Advanced practice certification required.
- Experience: Previous experience as an APP in an orthopedic surgery setting preferred.
