Quality Assurance Manager

At FactoryFix, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of quality systems to meet customer requirements and maintain a ZERO Defect rate.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Quality Department, providing clear direction to all functional subordinates to ensure the location meets its internal and external quality objectives.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to promote a solid functional understanding of quality systems and quality-related tools.
- Direct the completion of corrective/preventative action processes to ensure effective documentation and systematic processes are implemented.
- Full authority for meeting customer standards, including the implementation of containment processes and/or other procedures.
- Direct the maintenance and update of quality documentation.
- Provide support to other management staff members to achieve company goals.
- Manage, support, and participate in Lean Manufacturing activities at the facility.
- Direct, plan, and implement systems to ensure customer quality requirements are met and/or surpassed.
- Ensure quality systems are maintained and constantly upgraded to improve functionality for all RPS plants.
- Instrumental in the development and implementation of effective statistical techniques.
- Provide direction, guidance, and long-term objectives to functional support staff of Revere Plastics Systems Quality Departments.
- Support, train, and engage in Lean Manufacturing activities.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education, such as CQE or CQM.
- Minimum of 8 years' quality management-related experience.
- Revere Plastics Systems Orientation.
- CMM Training.
- Interview Training.
- Leadership Development.
- SPC Training.
- GD&T.
- Measurement Equipment Training.
- Sexual Harassment.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Fundamental computer skills.
- Strong functional knowledge of Quality Standards.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
