Construction Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join our team at Zero Impact Builders. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of renewable energy systems, including EV charging solutions, solar micro-grids, and energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a crew of 5-10 workers, ensuring efficient and safe work practices.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to determine equipment layout.
• Supervise and manage trenching for utility conduits, directing operators on backhoes and backfilling.
• Supervise and manage pouring and finishing concrete pads for switchgear, electrical chargers, and bollards.
• Arrange and coordinate safety meetings, delegate tasks, and be the point of contact with the employer's site superintendent.
• Supervise and train apprentices on the job, maintain a safe work environment, and control inventory.
• Organize and maintain material lists, gather required materials, and inspect jobs upon completion.

Requirements

• Experience in construction, electrical work, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and company guidelines.
