Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in Petersburg, Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for critically ill patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in Virginia or Compact RN license where applicable.
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • 1-2 years of recent relevant nursing experience in ICU or critical care settings.
