Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at our Pottery Barn store in Colorado Springs. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking merchandise and maintaining visual displays.
  • Work collaboratively with other sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked sales floor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining store appearance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in retail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
