Position Overview:
A leading refinery is seeking a skilled Chemical Process Engineer to provide vital support across various operational facets. This role is suitable for candidates with a few years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, or refining sectors.

Key Qualifications:
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in chemical or refining operations
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in chemical engineering

Responsibilities:
- Deliver process engineering assistance to enhance production and operational efficiency
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
- Design and execute enhancements within process sectors
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on significant projects and maintenance activities
- Provide engineering support for Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) across the facility
- Assist in formal Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Optimize processes utilizing simulation software (e.g., Petro-SIM, HYSIS, ProMax)
- Gradually take on more responsibilities in traditional process engineering areas as experience grows
- Coordinate efforts with site operations, maintenance, and safety management teams

Required/Preferred Skills:
- 1-4 years of experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or refining environment under Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in chemical engineering
- Familiarity with process simulation/modeling software as mentioned
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Must be eligible to work without the need for visa sponsorship
- Willingness to work on-site in an active plant environment.

Compensation:
Competitive salary range of approximately $125,000 - $135,000
