MedStar Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to contribute to our team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing C.T. examinations in accordance with established protocols, as requested by referring physicians. These functions will be performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown's philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full range of CT imaging procedures promptly on all patient types as specified by protocol.
  • Adhere to radiation safety practices for the scanning of patients.
  • Ensure timely completion of all exams through tracking, scanning, and other technical workflow as related to Radiology Information System (RIS), Enterprise Radiology Solutions (ERS), and Enterprise Electronic Record (EMR).
  • Direct patient flow on assigned scanner.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Technical Aides to ensure efficient room turnover.
  • Maintain a neat work area, wipe down assigned equipment between cases, stock and maintain supplies at identified inventory levels in assigned lab.

Requirements:

  • Completed training in an approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT registered.
  • ARRT advanced certification in CT within 1 year.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Prior C.T. experience preferred.
