Job Opportunity: Reservationist

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Reservationist to join our team at The Northport Hotel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for managing guest reservations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless booking experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage guest reservations: Handle all incoming inquiries related to room and dining reservations, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Provide information: Offer detailed information about our dining options and available menus, ensuring guests have a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  • Maximize bookings: Identify opportunities to upsell and promote special offers or upgrades to enhance the guest experience.
  • Input reservations: Accurately enter reservations into our system, ensuring all guest preferences and special requests are noted.
  • Coordinate with departments: Work closely with our restaurant teams to ensure smooth communication of guest arrivals and requests.
  • Resolve guest inquiries: Address any questions or concerns from guests related to their reservations promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a reservationist or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Experience with OpenTable or other restaurant reservation systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, professional, and a team player with a passion for hospitality.
