Position Overview:

The Wireline Field Operator is accountable to the Wireline Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carefully construct and assemble necessary gun and setting tool components at the job site, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members and the engineer on-site to execute wireline operations in a safe and effective manner.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and tools utilized in the field.
  • Observe colleagues, communicate potential risks, corrective measures, and promote safe working practices.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and guidelines.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferred experience of at least 1 year in the oilfield sector.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and tools (operating 14+ stages within a 24-hour period).
  • Must maintain good standing with drug and alcohol testing programs.
  • Possession of a Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement is required (60 days will be provided to obtain if not currently held).
  • Clear driving record for the past 3-5 years and eligibility for insurance.
  • Must be in good standing with the ATF and pass a background check.
  • Completion of all Noble Casing, Inc. and industry-specific training is mandatory.
  • Stay current with all required training and re-certifications.
  • Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential at all times.
  • Ability to work under extreme weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

  • Light Duty: Lifting of up to 20 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Medium Duty: Lifting of up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Heavy Work: Lifting of up to 100 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more.

Driver Criteria:

This guideline outlines the preferred criteria for insured drivers, with individual exceptions considered.

Exclusions for Drivers:

  • One or more Type A Violations within a 60-month period.
  • Two or more Type B Violations within a 36-month period.
  • Three or more Type C Violations within a 36-month period.
  • One Type B and two Type C Violations within a 36-month period.

Types of Violations Defined:

  • Type A: Includes serious offenses such as DWI, DUI, reckless driving, and other felonies.
  • Type B: Encompasses all vehicle accidents, regardless of fault.
  • Type C: Covers moving violations not included in Types A or B, such as speeding and improper lane changes.
  • Type D: Includes non-moving violations like illegal parking and equipment violations.

Compensation: $20-25 per hour.
