Job Title: Neuro Melanoma Sarcoma/Cancer Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a Neuro Melanoma Sarcoma/Cancer Care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of cancer treatment.

Job Summary:

The Neuro Melanoma Sarcoma/Cancer Care Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and participating in the development of evidence-based practices. This role requires a strong foundation in oncology nursing, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the education and training of nursing staff and students
  • Engage in research and quality improvement projects to advance cancer care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years
  • Valid, active license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
  • BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate effectively with patients and families, and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of a diverse patient population.
