  • This role is a full-time commitment with a multi-semester engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee students during their practical or clinical training.
  • Assess students' clinical submissions and coursework.
  • Organize laboratory schedules, oversee inventory, and provide assistance to both students and faculty.
Core Job Functions:
  • Facilitate hands-on clinical experiences.
  • Offer constructive feedback to students regarding their assignments.
  • Conduct evaluations for each student during their clinical rotations.
  • Manage and procure laboratory supplies.
  • Support both students and faculty in the laboratory setting.
  • Coordinate simulation exercises and aid in their development and execution.
  • Collaborate with faculty to enhance student learning opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols in both clinical and laboratory settings.
Additional Duties:
  • Perform related tasks as necessary.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Assist departmental staff as required and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Evening work may be necessary on occasion.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues, partners, and students.Minimum Requirements:
    • MSN degree, or a BSN with plans to pursue an MSN within four years.
    • 3-5 years of nursing experience.
    • Preferred teaching experience with RN students.
    • Active RN license in Connecticut.
