Phlebotomist II Float Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II Float to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a Phlebotomist II Float, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse environment, where no two days will be the same. You will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for lab testing, as well as providing excellent customer service and support to our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients and prepare them for lab testing
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and staff
  • Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Travel to different patient service centers and doctor's offices as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical training or experience preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Three years of phlebotomy experience required
