Resident Diesel Mechanic

As a Resident Diesel Technician at CLAAS, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our customers' equipment to the highest standards. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues in the field, shop, or customer location
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, and other equipment components
• Use SIS to order parts, troubleshoot machine systems, and research problems
• Conduct machinery inspections and set-ups
• Utilize laptop to enter labor, fill out service reports, and complete warranty reports
Requirements:
• Diesel Tech School Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years' experience in a field service technician role, preferred
• Prior experience in troubleshooting methods and tools required
• Must provide personal tools for position
• Working knowledge of CLAAS parts, a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
