Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in emergency situations, including trauma cases, cardiac arrests, and other high-acuity situations.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examination.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including medication administration, wound care, and other interventions.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Active VA/Compact State License required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in RN Emergency Department.
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALs, and NRP certifications.
