As an Optometrist, you will perform routine eye exams and various vision care procedures, painting a holistic picture of each patient's vision health journey. You will guide patients through special testing procedures, ensuring their comfort and confidence every step of the way.
Responsibilities- Perform routine eye exams and vision care procedures.
- Guide patients through special testing procedures, such as visual fields and ophthalmic imaging.
- Act as a liaison between patients and staff, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in maintaining ophthalmic instruments and supplies.
- Seamlessly orchestrate behind-the-scenes operations, including managing medical records and scheduling appointments.
- License to practice Optometry in New York State.
- Comfortable dealing with pediatric and adult patients.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Binocular work-ups for Pediatric Patients and Electronic Medical Records.
- $90 per hour, commensurate with experience.
