Compassionate CNA for Senior Care

Navion Senior Solutions is in search of dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) who are committed to delivering exceptional care and physical assistance to our residents. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing compassionate support with daily activities.

Position Type: Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities available.

Work Environment: This role is situated within our Assisted Living community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and fellow staff members.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, including mobility support and meal delivery.
  • Support residents with personal hygiene needs, including bathing and toileting assistance.
  • Provide additional care as necessary, such as delivering ice packs or dressings to alleviate discomfort.
  • Monitor and document residents' food intake and output for medical review.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff.
  • Implement infection control measures in all caregiving activities.
  • Understand and adhere to fire and emergency protocols, reporting any safety concerns.

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for working with the senior population.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
  • Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association) is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with team leaders.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, particularly in interactions with residents and healthcare professionals.
  • Capability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure situations.
