Job Summary: Amedisys Inc is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing home health care services. As a RN Admit, you will be responsible for performing patient start of care comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and implementing plans of care. You will also provide skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with the plan of care and agency policies.
Responsibilities:- Perform patient start of care comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and implement plans of care.
- Complete OASIS assessments timely and accurately.
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with the plan of care and agency policies.
- Helps to achieve and maintain continuity of patient care by communicating information with individual staff, physicians, family members, and community resources.
- Initiates appropriate referrals when indicated.
- Promotes and maintains patient health through teaching and appropriate rehabilitative measures.
- Assists patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
- Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
- One year of clinical experience as an RN.
- If less than one year clinical experience, you must be approved by VP of clinical.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.
- Attractive pay $90,000-100,000 Annually.
