Job SummaryThe Business Systems Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify business needs and translate them into technical requirements. This role will also involve leading the selection of software and technological tools, as well as implementing and maintaining these systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead client-facing requirements gathering sessions to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Maintain system content, addressing access and usage issues on existing applications
- Serve as master administrator of key platforms, managing configuration and build-out matters as well as third-party integrations
- Oversee user profiles and assignments, system updates, vendor relationships, and invoices
- Provide change management support of systems/software, new features, and new processes
- Conduct capacity building exercises, build library of end-user training materials, and lead group and 1:1 user training
- Interface with end-users to troubleshoot technical issues and acquire feedback for continuous improvement
- Continually assess the vendor landscape to determine the best way to obtain needed functionality
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar field
- 8-plus years' successful track record as a technology systems analyst addressing operational needs
- Experience in business process engineering, project management, database management, or similar
- Solid technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite Applications: Word, Excel, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, etc.
- Software programming and/or database development capability (SQL, Python, PHP, Linux, MS Access) a big plus
- Expert project management skills: ability to organize, prioritize, collaborate, meet timelines, and follow up with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of government contracting schemes, standards, documentation requirements, forms, and agreements extremely helpful
- Familiarity with various online procurement portals, tools, and software (HHS Accelerator, Grants Gateway, Statewide Financial system, PASSPort, DocuSign, etc.) a big plus
- Ability to work collaboratively across functional groups to solve problems and achieve results
- Enthusiasm for managing complicated and sometimes ambiguous projects
- Strong written and spoken communication skills; ability to present ideas clearly and effectively
- Hands-on approach to work execution
- Nonprofit industry experience preferred
