Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Southern Virginia Mental Health Institute. As a Registered Nurse II, you will provide advanced nursing care for patients with psychiatric disorders in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in shift handovers, report, and documentation
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Experience working in a psychiatric setting, preferably in a Joint Commission-accredited facility
- Strong understanding of mental health principles, practices, and laws
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
A competitive salary range for this position is $81,959 - $123,213 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we offer opportunities for professional growth and development.
