Adjunct Faculty Position in CIS/CS

Texas A&M University - Central Texas is seeking qualified candidates to teach CIS/CS classes on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in programming, database management, computer networking, and other related areas.

Responsibilities
  • Teach CIS/CS classes on campus
  • Develop and implement course materials
  • Evaluate student performance
  • Participate in departmental activities
Requirements
  • Earned M.S. in Information Systems/Computer Science or a related area
  • Minimum 18 graduate semester credit hours in the subject area
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate potential for effective teaching and research in Information Systems/Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications
  • Earned doctorate in Information Systems/Computer Science or a related area
  • Demonstrate excellence in teaching and published research in Information Systems/Computer Science
