As a key member of our operations engineering team, you will be responsible for evaluating, configuring, documenting, deploying, maintaining, upgrading, training, and troubleshooting ERP, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or Operations Process Management (OPM) software systems.
Key Responsibilities- Define data and system requirements, develop interface and integration requirements, and author requirements documents, conceptual design documents, and business process maps.
- Collaborate with technical resources to design applications that meet user and business needs.
- Assist in authoring acceptance test plans and conducting testing of new/revised functionality and software upgrades.
- Provide ad hoc education and assist users with technical issues.
- Author user manuals and develop training curriculum, training materials, and conduct user training.
- Participate in the implementation of software upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Ensure software applications and processes implemented are compliant with internal/external regulatory requirements.
- Proven computer literacy with specific skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Project.
- Good interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and a solid understanding of engineering/manufacturing/quality data requirements and design tools.
- Ability to deal independently with database experts, users, and others in a professional and diplomatic manner.
- Working knowledge of lean principles, design, manufacturing, and quality engineering applications and processes.
