Data Engineering and Machine Learning Solutions Architect

This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to join our dynamic team of innovators and engineers as we push the boundaries of machine learning and data engineering. As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will be instrumental in shaping the architecture and implementation of our next-generation products, leveraging your expertise in Elasticsearch, Go, Python, and cloud-native technologies.
About the Role:
You will lead the design and development of scalable backend services, optimize search infrastructure, and create efficient mechanisms for safe and rapid ML model deployment. Your passion for delivering complex projects across multiple domains and teams will drive business outcomes, ensuring customer experience is at the forefront of every engineering solution.
Responsibilities:
Owning delivery of multi-domain, cross-team projects that span large-scale architectural changesOptimizing Elasticsearch for high-quality customer experiencesDriving system designs and APIs that prioritize ease and scalabilityCollaborating with teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutionsMentoring junior engineers to foster growth and improvement within the teamRequirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
Experience working with Elasticsearch, optimizing data representations, queries, and clustersRelevant work experience building and evolving production software using Go and PythonProficiency in deploying and managing ML models in production environmentsFamiliarity with RDBMS such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and crafting performant SQL queriesExperience leveraging SaaS and cloud provider primitives to their fullest potentialBonus Qualifications:
Deep knowledge of ElasticSearch and search/indexing technologies, experience developing ML models (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras) for personalization, and proficiency in strongly typed languages (e.g., Rust, C++, Scala, Java, C#).
