Job Title: Project Engineer - Bridges

ASN Constructors is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in managing the construction of bridges. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bridge construction, including financial administration, cost reporting, and project scheduling.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, working closely with the Construction Manager, Bridges Manager, and Project Manager.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced Project Engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Communicate effectively with owners, addressing project-related concerns and matters.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with bridge construction experience preferred.
  • PE certification is a plus.
Work Environment:
  • This position involves both outdoor and indoor work, with potential exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, and loud noises.
  • Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety vest.
Physical Demands:
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
