Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Medical Surgical RN to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to cardiac patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our cardiac care program.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care to 4-6 cardiac patients per shift, including administering medications, changing dressings, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals, including social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging.
- Participate in the development and implementation of our cardiac care program, including identifying best practices and implementing evidence-based care.
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least one year of RN experience in a cardiac medical surgical setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) within two years from date of hire.
